So a huge ice storm came in on monday (dec. 10th) and put our power out at about 11 o' clock in the evening.
This causing us to use our generator (That grandma had just given us) i was a BA and helped carry it in the cold and stuff..woot
So no school tuesday-
I went out to check things out, everything was covered with at least 1 inch of ice, almost all of our trees were broken and all over the yard, and our old electricity line to the well was down.
I helped dad , assist some of the elderly people in the area and help fill heaters with fuel , that good stuff, then had to convince my grandma to come home with us.
Come to find out over 650,000 people lost power from this storm, and there were 27 reported deaths by wednesday.
No school Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (5 days at home with grandma)
We are forced to cook everything we eat in ethier
A) crock pot
B) griddle
C) toaster

Life was intresting but were ready to be back to normal.
I didnt have to work all week (thats gonna hurt the paycheck)
But at least i didnt have to get out in this ewwie.

So were on day 5 of no electricity.
And they say it could be up to 2 weeks till we have power
Thats crazy, well thats all i got for now.
Just holding on and taking lots and lots of pictures
and doing lots of reading
Now im just waiting for Nathaniel to come home!
